David Brennan was the Northern
Boys Cross-country Champion in 1964 defeating Brendan Foster. He was
subsequently to win many events including the Chris Vose 10 mile road
race, Parbold Hill race, Cheshire Cross Country and Track Championships (3
events in the same afternoon - 800metres, 1,500metres and 5,000metres). Notes from the 1960s 1964 Dave Brennan won the boys title at the northern cross country championships. 1965 D.
