Fourteen Warrington Athletic Club Athletes represented Cheshire in the English Schools Cross Country Championships at Berry Hill Park Mansfield on Saturday 25th March. In the Junior girls race Jade Llewellyn finished 34th in 12 minutes 27 seconds and Louise Sullivan was 55th in 12 minutes 39 seconds helping the team to 7th place. At Intermediate level Heather Timmins 15th in 13 minutes 52 seconds, Rheannon Rainford 54th in 14 minutes 35 seconds, Hannah Tart 93rd in 14 minutes 53 seconds, Sarah Cartwright 107th in 14 minutes 59 seconds and Lucy Gemmell 170th in 15 minutes 21 seconds helped their team to take 4th position. Alison Patrick and Heather Roberts were the only club runners in the Senior Girls race finishing in156th and 171st place in17 minutes 43 seconds and 17 minutes 52 seconds respectively helping the team to 11th position. In the Junior Boys race Mike Stewart was the only club runner finishing in 254th place in 15 minutes 54 seconds, his team finished in 25th place. In the Intermediate Boys race Lawrence Walker led the team in finishing in 12th place in 20 minutes 27 seconds. Lawrence was backed up by Danny Cliffe 36th in 20 minutes 58 seconds, Stephen Broadhurst 76th in 21 minutes 36 seconds and Matt Jackson 118th in 21 minutes 57 seconds to help their team to finish in 4th position.
