In the women's events Louise Sullivan finished in 4th place in the under15 race in 13minutes 06 seconds with Katie Vandewalle 16th in 14minutes 43 seconds. The next runners were the under 17 girls with Rhiannon Rainford 3rd in 17 minutes 47 second, Lucy Gemmell 5th in 18 minutes 06 seconds and Kirsty Young 12th in 20 minutes 50 seconds to finish in 3rd place in the team event.
The senior women completed the day with Jenny Smith in 4th place in 35 minutes 05 seconds leading the team of Suzanne Andrews 49th in 41 minutes 45 seconds, Fiona McGrath 54th in 42 minutes 46 seconds and Clare Irons 67th in 45 minutes 28 seconds to 10th place.
In the men's events Ryan O'Neill started the day by finishing 6th in the under 13 race in 12 minutes 50 seconds while Danny Jackson finished 16th in the under 15 race in 18 minutes 12 seconds. In the under 17 race Mat Jackson Romped to victory in 22 minutes 59 seconds with team mate Lawrence Walker taking 2nd in 23 minutes 51 seconds.
