Vale Royal AC staged their annual Pie and Peas Race on Wednesday 3rd August and Warrington Athletic Club were represented by two athletes Steve Burthem and Mike Timmins. Steve was first to finish in 13th place in 30 minutes 45 seconds and was 2nd over 45 to finish. Mike finished in 21st place in 31 minutes 21 seconds and although he was 2nd under 20 to complete the race he collected the 1st place award as Steven Mitchell of the home club was in 3rd place and there was only one award per athlete. | (No pictures of the event) |
